The brick - Functional fitness

It is now scientifically proven that muscle building and regular exercise are necessary for a long and quality life.

With our dedicated and experienced trainers, we work every day to provide diverse, fun-filled group classes and personal training sessions that work all muscle groups.

Build strength as part of a great community!

As the successor to the former BNG Crossfit, we opened The Brick Functional Fitness in the heart of Újlipótváros with great enthusiasm in January 2025. As owners, we fell in love with CrossFit and functional training in general in this gym and transformed the most popular group class into cross-training. When passing by the gym during our daily walk and peeking in, many people do not understand at first what we do with that little equipment downstairs, as most people are familiar with classic gyms that are full of various machines and dumbbells.

However, revolutionary functional fitness, unlike classic bodybuilding training, takes a complex view of the human body and emphasizes complex exercises, does not require huge equipment and the variability of the exercises is endless. Bodyweight exercises such as pull-ups, push-ups, push-ups or squats are regularly included in its program. If you choose Brick and start exercising with us, you can be sure that you will not get bored of the workouts soon, as our professional training team always puts together varied exercise sequences!

At The Brick, we work with the most modern and exciting functional fitness equipment, in a pleasant and practical environment, in an easily accessible location. We are proudly a family-friendly gym, where you can safely bring the children if you are unable to supervise them.

At The Brick, the entire entry system operates in an automated system. There is no receptionist, no cash payment. You can register with a few clicks via the GPass phone application, from which you can then buy a casual ticket or pass anywhere, anytime. The room is not open Since there is no receptionist in the room, it does not operate as an Open Gym, meaning you can only come down if a professional is with you and monitors your training.

Cross Training

Cross Training is an intense form of training that combines functional movements with elements of different sports, such as weightlifting, gymnastics and cardio training. Many people like this sport because the workouts are varied. There is no one to whom we would not recommend cross training. Anyone can try it, regardless of gender, age or body type. The goal is to increase performance in different areas, such as strength, endurance, speed and flexibility. The social nature of Cross Training is also important, as you often work in groups, pairs or teams during the workouts, which has a motivating effect on the participants. The training ends with the WOD (Workout of the Day), where the participants aim to achieve the best possible time or performance.

Lunch Cross

Do you want to get fitter for the summer, but don't have much time to go to the gym? Do you want to plan your day effectively? Then take advantage of your lunch break and get up from your computer for that one hour, come over to Brick from the office and get some exercise! No more kayaking, just good strength, fitness and explosiveness. We use the most effective exercises of functional training in this class as a circuit training. We mix high-intensity, HIIT exercises and cross training-type weight exercises, which are preceded by a thorough warm-up. Bring your lunch with you and eat it at our place, or refresh yourself with the protein bar that comes as a gift in the first month and you can go back to the office!

Spinal training is a special form of exercise that focuses on protecting the spine, relieving stress and strengthening the core muscles. The goal is not to fatigue, but to develop and maintain healthy posture, consciously activate the core muscles, and improve range of motion. This type of class is especially recommended for people who work sedentary jobs, those who suffer from back and waist pain, athletes, and those who want to prevent musculoskeletal problems. Spinal training takes place in a group class, in a small, friendly community.
